Job Description

As an Executive Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations and performance of the hotel. This includes all departments and team members, ensuring smooth running and exemplary guest service.

Actively participating in revenue meetings to set weekly and monthly revenue/rate strategies is also a crucial aspect of this position.

Supporting the Kitchen and F&B teams in ensuring all quality and safety standards for food prep, storage, presentation and service are strictly adhered to is vital.

Conferences & Events must be set up for success, and you will encourage the C&E team to maximise revenue and selling strategies. Providing exemplary interactions with attendees and our offering is always innovative.

Responsibilities also include rosters and approving timesheets, while maintaining cost effectiveness and effective coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee hotel operations and performance, ensuring smooth running and exemplary guest service.
  • Participate in revenue meetings to set revenue/rate strategies.
  • Support Kitchen and F&B teams to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Set up Conferences & Events for success and encourage revenue growth.
  • Manage rosters and approve timesheets, maintaining cost effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership skills and proven history in senior hotel management role (min 2+ years).
  • Sound understanding of full-service hotel (Rooms, F&B and C&E).
  • Commercially savvy, driving revenue and profit growth across Rooms Department, Food & Beverage and Conference & Events.
  • Passion for the industry and hands-on style, leading by example.
  • Engaged and initiative-taking attitude, influencing outcomes.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in PMS and POS such as Protel and Micros (desirable).
  • Current RSA and 'Provide First Aid' Certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Unrestricted full-time work rights for Australia.
