**Job Overview**

The Head of Finance and Systems is a pivotal role within our organisation, responsible for driving financial health, technological advancement, and operational excellence. This strategic leadership position oversees the development and implementation of financial strategies, systems, and technologies to support sustainable growth and success.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the finance team and work closely with the administration team to ensure effective delivery of business services. Your mandate includes:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies and systems aligned with business objectives.
  • Selecting and implementing cutting-edge financial technologies to enhance efficiency and decision-making capabilities.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices.
  • Maintaining regulatory compliance and mitigating financial risks through robust governance and controls.
  • Driving operational excellence through process optimisation, cost management, and performance measurement.

You will possess a blend of financial acumen, leadership capabilities, and a forward-thinking mindset. Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving transformational change initiatives would be advantageous.

This is a new permanent full-time role available now as part of our organisational advancement and growth strategy. We operate from offices in Brisbane, Newcastle, Townsville, or Perth and offer flexible work arrangements.
