Operational Risk Manager Role

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver effective risk management strategies.
  • Develop and implement control testing plans to identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Contribute to the development of risk enablement activities, such as capacity planning and change in risk assessments.
  • Communicate key operational risk matters to stakeholders through clear and comprehensive reports.
  • Design and develop appropriate risk reporting dashboards for senior management and board committees.

Requirements

A successful candidate will have:

  • 7+ years' experience in operational risk, preferably in a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Commercially astute advice underpinned by sound risk management principles.
  • RG146 competency with ongoing CPD (preferred but not essential).
