Job Description:

  • As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting protective security outcomes under the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) and internal security policies.
  • Develop and implement security policies and plans according to the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF).
  • Maintain operational security and accreditations across defence classified work areas.
  • Manage security incident responses by investigating and formulating mitigating and remediation actions.
  • Conduct security risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and developing risk treatment plans to address security threats and risks.
  • Support security-related emergency response functions, roles, and responsibilities according to local Emergency Response Plans.
  • Monitor, manage, and influence the suitability of sponsored security cleared personnel.
  • Coordinate minor projects from a security standpoint and ensure security guidance and implementation align with ASIO T4 Technical Notes.
  • Develop and deliver training and awareness sessions to build a positive security culture.
  • Generate and distribute security reports to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Good understanding of physical, personnel, and information security.
