Early Childhood Education Role Overview

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Iluka Early Learning Bondi Beach.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will contribute to the planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection of the educational program for children aged from birth to preschool. You will provide quality education and care to support and facilitate learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of programs that reflect the approved learning framework.
  • Develop positive and respectful relationships with children, their families and community.
  • Facilitate play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interests, strengths and abilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor Teaching or Early Childhood Education qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as an ECT (experience working as educational lead advantageous).
  • Work history demonstrating recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
