Category Development Manager

This pivotal position involves acting as a strategic partner between procurement teams and business areas related to ICT spend categories.
- Develop and manage strategic category management for ICT categories to identify and maximize procurement efficiencies, value generation, and market insights.
- Contribute to the development and management of the annual procurement strategic opportunities plan for ICT categories.
- Collaborate with sourcing delivery and contract teams to optimize procurement sourcing, contract management, and performance.
- Optimize the supply base through strategies like aggregation, consolidation, bundling, and rationalization, developing category plans and vendor strategies that address business needs and ensure value for money.
- Support education, awareness, and training initiatives related to procurement and category management strategies.
Requirements include a degree in Supply Chain and Logistics or Information Technology, with a preferred tertiary qualification in commercial management and MCIPS certification.
