Your Future Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer - Maintenance Specialist to join our team responsible for the maintenance of our fleet. Based at our facility, you will work closely with the Engineering, Operations, Planning, QA, and Project teams to provide support to the fleet. This role will involve executing the Maintenance Optimisation plan, supporting and executing the yearly Engineering Strategy, and Business Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the Maintenance Optimisation plan to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our fleet.
  • Support and execute the yearly Engineering Strategy and Business Strategy to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Establish systems and mechanisms for recording, analysing, reporting, and investigating performance data to inform maintenance decisions.
  • Apply engineering principles to investigate rolling stock fault trends and establish their root cause.
  • Write Technical Procedures for the operations teams as required.
  • Undertake engineering-based risk assessments for the project team as required.
  • Provide engineering support activities as required.

Requirements

  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage your time effectively.
  • A positive attitude and a team player, happy to assist where required.
  • IT savvy with demonstrated experience using Microsoft office products.
  • Significant experience within maintenance engineering, ideally within Rail or a similar heavy industry.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
