  • Ongoing assessment of student progress and achievement using various means to collect and report academic data
  • Using data to tailor instruction and have students performing on-grade level or above in all subject areas
  • Leading comprehensive assessments and individual education plans for students with severe disabilities

Key qualifications include a bachelor's degree, Missouri Special Education Certification, and at least two years of teaching experience in middle school grades. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, as well as experience working in socio-economically, racially, and culturally diverse classrooms, are also essential.
