Classroom Teacher

A dynamic and rewarding role is available for a dedicated Classroom Teacher who will play a pivotal part in supporting growth in faith and learning to help students reach their full potential.

This temporary part-time position commences as soon as possible and concludes on 19 December 2025.

About the Role
  • Create and maintain an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment based on PB4L principles.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies across all Key Learning Areas.
  • Demonstrate commitment to engaging professionally with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Essential Criteria
  • Proven ability to support student growth and development in a Catholic School setting.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and organisational skills to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience in Gifted & Talented Education or similar programs.
General Capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications for teaching Primary K-6.
  • Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance with relevant policy or commitment to gain within the first 5 years of employment.
  • NESA accreditation to teach in NSW.

This role requires a Working With Children Check prior to commencement.
