Job Title: Science Educator

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative educator to join our team in 2026 for a maternity leave replacement. This part-time position may be ideal for an early career teacher who is conditionally or provisionally accredited and eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine clear teaching objectives and specify how they will be taught and assessed.
  • Set appropriate academic and behavioral expectations.
  • Engage in goal setting, coaching, and learning sprints for improving pedagogy.
  • Foster the general progress and wellbeing of students.
  • Provide effective feedback to students that promotes growth in their learning.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A committed Christian and an active member of a church.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications to teach Stage 4-6 syllabuses and NESA teacher accreditation.
  • Knowledge of current subject area syllabus documents and proven ability to develop contemporary teaching and learning programs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of assessment as, of, and for learning.
  • Ability to use technology in the learning process.
