Job Description

Monto State High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated education support assistant to assist in the supervision of education activities, under the direction of a teacher. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the supervision of students during breaks
  • Support students with their academic learning—working with small groups as well as individual students
  • Provide support for teachers in compiling and creating learning materials
  • Contribute to the welfare, health and safety of students
  • Display confidentiality, tact and reliability to other staff as well as students and their families
