Role Overview

This senior clinician position plays a pivotal role in enhancing service quality in Alcohol and Other Drugs, spearheading clinical leadership and facilitating the implementation of integrated treatment, care, and support (ITCS) for individuals with co-occurring serious mental illness and substance use or addiction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary AOD treatment to consumers where clinical expertise aligns with consumer needs
  • Offer primary and secondary AOD consultation and linkages for AMHWS consumers
  • Contribute to service quality improvement initiatives, including AOD capability building for the MHDAS workforce
  • Provide discipline-specific professional supervision and supervise students within Barwon Health as required
