About the Role:

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving growth and profitability across various markets. The ideal candidate will have middle management experience in commercial operations, strategy, or business development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the portfolio
  • Maintain market knowledge and competitor insights
  • Build and manage strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Drive revenue growth and maintain client relationships
  • Monitor site performance and implement improvement plans
  • Review business processes and recommend enhancements for efficiency and control
  • Support the GM with business planning and operational oversight
  • Monitor performance data, investigate variances, and develop action plans
  • Deliver timely reports on performance, market trends, risks, and opportunities

Requirements:

  • Middle management experience in commercial operations, strategy, or business development is highly regarded
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven experience in tender/proposal preparation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills
  • Confident in engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong marketing, planning, and organisational abilities
  • Analytical, solutions-focused thinker with sound decision-making skills
  • Tertiary qualification in business or a related field is highly desirable
