Behavioural Support Professional

As a Behavioural Support Professional, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing clinical services to individuals with complex needs. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients.
Your day-to-day duties will involve assessing and observing participants' challenging behaviours, working towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation, and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce the use of restrictive practices.
You will develop comprehensive behaviour support plans and assessments that focus on increasing an individual's quality of life, including improving their skills and enhancing their independence.
The ideal candidate will possess qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Teaching, Social Work, Health Science, or Nursing. They must also hold registration as a behaviour practitioner or be able to become registered through the NDIS.
A valid driver's licence and National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance are required.
