Senior Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the integrity of solutions under development. This role reports to our Project Manager and is responsible for application testing and evaluation (AT&E), validation and verification (V&V), fault finding, audit reviews, engineering compliance and reporting.

The successful candidate will have experience in creating and executing test strategies, test plans and test cases. A strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and tools is essential.

This role requires:

  • Defining test strategies and test plans, and managing test activities across different streams of delivery.
  • Generating test reports and metrics to communicate the testing progress, results and quality of the software to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating internally providing feedback and actionable recommendations from internal and external testing.
  • Preparing reports on the status of verification activities.
  • Ensuring alignment of testing with software release goals.
  • Undertaking system testing as required to assist the testing team.
  • Supporting pre-sales work, including effort estimating and proposal writing.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed documentation for systems and processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum diploma level qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on test management experience across the entire testing lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum) is required.
  • NV1 Security Clearance: To work within our Defence business unit you must hold (or be able to obtain) and maintain a Defence NV1 security clearance.
