Job SummaryThe Australian National University is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead the Residential Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the University's student accommodation, which comprises 10 ANU residences and 4 Uni Lodge-managed residences with a combined total of around 6,500 beds.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the finance team to deliver high-quality financial services and support the strategy and objectives of the Residential Experience Division.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions, integrity of financial data and reports, and continual improvement of financial controls and processes.
- Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to achieve the University's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with executive staff to ensure the Residential Finance team is aligned with the University's overall strategy.
- Provide training and support to non-finance staff within the residences to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform financial activities.
The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team in a complex and evolving environment. They will also have a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices, with experience in leading finance teams and developing financial plans and strategies.
