Electrical Tester Role

This position involves the provision of technical support and advice on all testing and commissioning of critical HV substations across Metro NSW.

We are looking for an individual who can create and coordinate testing & commissioning activities, estimate the most efficient and safe approach to commission assets in line with scope and project requirements, provide diagnostic testing and maintenance services for a wide variety of electrical protection and control relays and equipment, and prepare all necessary documentation during the feasibility or tendering stage.

The ideal candidate will possess a Grade Electrical licence, Advanced Diploma in Power Systems or similar, and demonstrated technical expertise, including fault finding of secondary systems and experience working across power systems.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to electrical protection and control systems.
  • Provide expert advice on the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HV substation equipment.
