Leadership Opportunity

This is a pivotal role that oversees the direction and growth of an organisation, accountable to the Board.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving organisational vision, strategy, and growth potential through effective leadership and collaboration with stakeholders.

Key requirements include a strong professional leader capable of driving strategy and planning to ensure the organisation is responsive to its Strategic Plan and broader Country Plan.

Responsibilities
  • Drive day-to-day operations of a diverse organisation at executive level, ensuring accountability and effective coordination across staff, community, and stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Aboriginal governance, corporate governance, and general management practices within Aboriginal organisations and communities.
  • Lead strategic financial management, sustainable enterprise development, and organisational growth.
  • Align organisational priorities with the Country Plan and Strategic Plan.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating effectively and interpreting between two worlds.
Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Management or a related discipline are highly regarded. However, no mandatory qualifications are required.

Key Selection Criteria
