Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Retail Store Manager to join our team at Bankstown store. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, improve customer service, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive and engaging store atmosphere that encourages customer loyalty and repeat business
  • Manage stock levels, implement visual merchandising strategies, and ensure accurate inventory reporting
  • Develop and implement plans to improve sales performance, reduce stock loss, and increase customer satisfaction
  • Mentor and coach store staff to achieve individual and team goals
  • Act as Store Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless store operations and maintaining high standards of customer service

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in retail management or supervisory roles, preferably with experience in coaching and developing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth
  • Availability to work weekends, late nights, and public holidays, as required

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience
