Responsible Domestic Violence Prevention Specialist

We seek an experienced professional to play a pivotal role in promoting change and accountability for men who have used violence in their relationships.
The Men's Behaviour Change (MBC) program aims to create a therapeutic group environment that fosters positive behavioural change. As our facilitator, you will co-facilitate the Taking Responsibility group program, working with men who use violence in an accredited MBC program.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the Taking Responsibility group program to promote safe and healthy relationships
- Assess and respond to risk of harm for all affected victim survivors
- Collaborate with co-facilitators and the wider team to provide interventions that facilitate behavioural change
- Formal graduate qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with families affected by domestic and family violence, including facilitating group work or MBC programs
- Strong understanding of MBC practice, trauma-informed care principles, and the dynamics of domestic and family violence
- Make a genuine difference to the lives of individuals, couples and families
- Be part of a supportive and dynamic team working towards a common goal
