Job Opportunity:

A highly skilled and experienced Group Facilitator is required to play a pivotal role in promoting change and accountability for men who have used violence in their relationships.

About the Role:
  • Co-facilitate a group program aimed at promoting change and accountability among men who have used violence in their relationships
  • Work with men who use violence in a structured group setting, assessing and responding to risk of harm effectively
Key Responsibilities:
  1. To co-facilitate a group program, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver timely, compassionate and expert care that strengthens wellbeing and connection
  2. Have a sound understanding of the gendered nature of family and domestic violence, as well as the ability to assess and respond to risk of harm effectively
Requirements:
  • Formal graduate qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline
  • Post-graduate qualifications in counselling, trauma, group work or practice are highly desirable
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with families affected by domestic and family violence
