About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at RACV City Club in Melbourne CBD. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless service during meal times.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar position, preferably in a reputable restaurant or catering environment.
  • Commercial Cookery qualification or equivalent experience desirable.
  • Food safety certification and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Passion for Victorian produce and seasonal menus, with a focus on delivering high-quality dishes.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on communication and collaboration.
