In this role, you will play a vital part in creating exceptional culinary experiences for our customers while leading and inspiring our kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement diverse and seasonal menus, ensuring meticulous calculation of food and labor costs, and sourcing high-quality ingredients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of dish quality at every stage of preparation and presentation, guaranteeing that each plate meets our standards of excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with managers and both kitchen and front-of-house staff to effectively address any food preparation challenges and enhance overall service efficiency.
  • Provide advanced cooking techniques and hands-on guidance to kitchen staff on best practices and preparation methods.
  • Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, ensuring each item is executed to perfection.
  • Educate staff on hygiene regulations and best practices, actively ensuring compliance to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
  • Participate in the selection, training, and mentoring of kitchen personnel to foster a skilled and motivated team.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly, proactively notifying management of low stock to facilitate timely replenishment.
  • Handle, preserve, and freeze ingredients as necessary to maintain quality and minimize waste.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a culinary role.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for food and creativity.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards in a kitchen environment.
