We are seeking an experienced Linux server professional to join our team.

This is a mission-critical role that requires a proven track record in the installation, configuration, maintenance, security and compliance of Enterprise Systems [Linux O/S] within a large enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will have a background in the management of Automation tools and scripting within a Linux environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing project technical support including installation, configuration, maintenance, security and compliance of Enterprise Systems, Linux based Infrastructure [Red hat].
  • Designing and architecting infrastructure and reviewing environments.
  • Awareness of change management disciplines and adherence to this process for all system changes.
  • Responding to security and operational incidents.
  • Building and deploying Linux Servers for both on-premises and Virtual environments.
  • Patching and administering Operating Systems and monitoring project status.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A minimum 6 years experience as a Linux System Project Engineer.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • RHCE/RHCA certification.
  • Experience with Automation - Puppet, Ansible and/or Red Hat Satellite.
  • Scripting experience - Python or Perl.
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills and abilities.
  • Financial Services experience is highly advantageous.
