Our client a Leading Financial Services organisation seek an experienced Linux Server Specialist to provide Linux server build, deployment & support within a large enterprise mission-critical environment.

To be successful you will have a proven track record in the installation, configuration, maintenance, security & compliance of Enterprise Systems [Linux O/S] within a large enterprise environment.

You must have a background in the management of Automation tools and scripting within a Linux environment.

**Experience/skills required**:

- Min 6 years' experience as a Linux System Project Engineer.
- Advanced troubleshooting experience.
- RHCE/RHCA certified.
- Experience in Automation - Puppet, Ansible and or Red Hat Satellite.
- Scripting experience - Python or Perl.
- Experience in the build and deployment of server infrastructure across both physical and virtual environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and abilities.
- Financial Services experience will be highly advantageous.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide project technical support including installation, configuration, maintenance, security and compliance of Enterprise Systems, Linux based Infrastructure [Red hat].
- Infrastructure design/architecture, and environmental review.
- Be aware of change management disciplines and adhere to this process for all system changes.
- Security and operational incident response.
- Build and Deploy Linux Servers for both on-premises and Virtual environments.
- OS Patch Implementation, administration & project status monitoring.
