Job OverviewAs a skilled Flood Community Engagement Advisor, you will develop and implement comprehensive community engagement plans for flood-related projects. Your primary role will be to facilitate public meetings, workshops, and consultations to gather input and feedback from stakeholders and community members.
You will create and distribute clear communication materials, collaborate with internal teams to align engagement plans with project goals, and monitor and report on the effectiveness of engagement activities.
Additionally, you will address community concerns and provide timely responses to inquiries, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures in all engagement efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Strong understanding of community engagement principles and practices.
- Flood knowledge and experience as a community engagement advisor or local government professional.
- Project coordination expertise and previous experience in stakeholder management or public engagement roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations to various audiences.
- A collaborative approach to working with diverse teams and communities.
