Job Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our targeted flood community engagement stream.

\

As part of this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering the communications and engagement plans associated with the flood awareness engagement program. This will involve managing key strategic relationships, coordinating customer and community enquiries, and implementing innovative digital engagement solutions to promote and support engagement and involvement in the Flood Awareness Engagement program.

\

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that our customers and community have a voice and that our engagement approach is tailored to reflect key priorities. Your expertise in strategic communications and engagement planning will be essential in developing and implementing effective engagement strategies that drive engagement with key customers and community across multiple areas.

\

About You:

\
  • High levels of customer and community advocacy\
  • Excellent knowledge of strategic communications and engagement planning\
  • Exceptional social awareness and ability to quickly and creatively redesign engagement activities to meet community expectations\
  • Experience working in sensitive political environments\
  • Experienced in online engagement techniques, social media, and digital content creation\
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field with demonstrated experience working across the IAP2 spectrum\
  • High level of project management skills with proven ability in setting priorities, meeting deadlines, managing budgets, and keeping accurate records to enable project reporting
