Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to customers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to virtualization concepts and virtual system administration
    • Analyze and troubleshoot storage virtualization and networking virtualization
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
    • Participate in training and readiness programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
  • Requirements:
    • Minimum 6 months of scripting skills in PowerShell or Linux Bash
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in one or more of the following technical areas:
    • Virtualization concepts and virtual system administration
    • Virtual Machine management
    • vCenter management
    • Virtual Storage Area Network (vSAN)
    • Hyper-V configuration and administration
    • On-prem, Virtual and Cloud Networking concepts such as VIPs, NAT, Load Balancing, DNS
    • Azure Networking components (vWAN, Express Route, Global Reach, vNET peering, VPN)
    • Troubleshooting Storage virtualization and Networking Virtualization
    • Basic knowledge in Linux administration
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Platform services
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology (IT), or related field
    • 5+ years technical support, technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience including a customer-facing or customer support role
    • A working knowledge of the fundamentals of cloud computing
    • Some experience with LDAP, Security, OS Internals concepts
    • Microsoft Azure architecture and its components (Fabric, Compute, Storage)
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Platform services
    • Azure Platform development and deployment concepts
    • Familiarity with development: tools, language, process, methods, troubleshooting
