Home Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide home care services in the Hervey Bay area. This role involves assisting older members of our community to maintain their homes and enhance their wellbeing.
This position requires providing home help services such as general housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping. The Home Care Assistant will also assist clients with daily tasks and provide social support.
In addition, transporting clients to lifestyle activities and helping family carers to have a break is an essential part of this role.
Requirements- A valid Australian Driver's Licence and own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
- Experience in a similar professional role, preferably in aged care.
- Casual roles with opportunities for permanent part-time positions.
- Award rate $40.93 per hour + superannuation and paid kilometres.
- Employee benefits program and salary packaging up to $18,550 tax-free each year.
- Accelerated learning programs to gain professional qualifications (Cert 3).
- Paid CPR and First Aid courses.
