Personal Care Assistant Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional in-home care services to our elderly clients. This role is crucial in fostering client independence and enhancing their overall quality of life.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with essential personal hygiene activities, such as bathing, showering, and dressing, ensuring their comfort and dignity are upheld. They will also deliver customized, person-centered care that reflects each client's individual needs, preferences, and routines.

This includes everyday tasks and assistance within the home, from basic household duties and cleaning assistance, meal preparation, social outings, and transport to medical appointments.

In return for your dedication and hard work, we offer flexible shifts of 2 to 8 hours, Monday through Friday, with the option for casual afternoon shifts and weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks.
  • Deliver customized care that meets each client's unique needs.
  • Assist with daily activities, including household duties and meal preparation.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Personal Care Worker.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care.
  • A compassionate and professional attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional care.
  • Driver's licence and vehicle.
  • National police check.
  • First aid & CPR.
  • Blue Card.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
