Churches of Christ are currently looking for caring and reliable individuals to assist seniors in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, and social support. If you have a passion for helping others and a positive attitude, we will provide the necessary training to support you in this role.
Responsibilities
Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients in Hervey Bay and surrounds.
Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities.
Encourage independence and well-being in a home environment.
What we\'re looking for / Qualifications
Is passionate about delivering high quality Home Care services
Currently holds a Certificate III in Individual Support
Currently holds, or willing to obtain a Medication competency
Currently holds, or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR qualification
Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
A current driver\'s license and a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes are essential for this role.
(Reimbursement of 0.96 per KM is provided for use of own vehicle)
Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
