As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and banking reconciliation. You will work closely with our finance team to maintain accurate financial records and provide timely financial reports.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities. A background in accounting or bookkeeping is essential, with experience in XERO (DEAR) highly advantageous.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with supplier statement reconciliation
  • Maintain AP reporting to Head of Finance
  • Oversee daily banking reconciliation
  • Reconcile daily consolidated invoices
  • Import and reconcile company credit cards
  • Ensure EOM journals and settlement discounts are done
  • Prepare weekly payroll and respond to staff pay queries
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
  • Process monthly superannuation payment
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Requirements:
  • Cert IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting
  • 2+ years' experience in Accounts, reconciliation, payroll, AP & AR
  • Excellent understanding of XERO (DEAR experience highly advantageous)
  • A keen eye for detail and strong communication skills
  • Sound understanding of Chart of Accounts and tax codes
