About the Role:
Our client is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join their friendly finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable and receivable functions, income reconciliations, and liaising with multiple hospitality venues to ensure accurate and timely financial processing. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a team environment and enjoys variety in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
- Receive and process invoices from multiple venues.
- Process weekly invoices every Wednesday and monthly invoices as required.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies directly with suppliers.
Accounts Receivable
- Receive and process debtor paperwork from venues.
- Process debtors on a monthly basis.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely receipts.
Income Reconciliation
- Accurately process income into the system.
- Investigate and reconcile unusual or outstanding transactions.
General
- Collaborate effectively within the accounts team.
- Manage accounts for a number of hospitality venues.
- Communicate regularly with venue managers and liaise with other departments.
- Ensure all deadlines are met in line with business requirements.
About You:
- Previous experience in accounts payable and/or receivable.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across teams.
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
