Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team as an Account Manager for Major Appliances in NSW. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive sales growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing assigned business territories, implementing business strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets, and driving sales activity through both sell-in and sell-out functions. Key account investment and promotional activities will also be aligned with business strategies to increase market share, drive volume, and achieve a profitable product mix.

  • Develop overall store business plans to meet commercial objectives
  • Conduct individual business reviews with key stakeholders, including business owners, franchisees, buyers, and department managers
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Present and execute monthly KAM channel plans for each business unit to meet commercial objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a sales/account management position, ideally within the white goods or consumer goods industry
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to understand the company's business model and financial health of a customer's business
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to methodically weigh varying pieces of evidence or data and determine the best course of action
  • Win-win outcomes, with the ability to successfully negotiate to close deals with the best possible price/margin
  • Sales tools mastery, with proficiency in Cognos, JDE, or other IT-based applications
