About Senior Contracts Administrator

The Role

As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you will oversee construction and consultancy contracts, ensuring everything from procurement planning to financial reporting runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include negotiating contract terms, managing claims and variations, and keeping track of budgets and performance metrics.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance, resolve issues, and maintain strong commercial outcomes.

Requirements

  • A qualification in quantity surveying, construction management, or construction law, with hands-on experience in contract administration.
  • A solid background in managing consultancy and construction contracts, ideally within large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex contract terms.
  • A deep understanding of procurement models, financial risk, and cost control strategies.
  • Sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple contracts and deadlines without compromising quality.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a knack for building trusted relationships across teams and with external partners.
  • Clear and professional communication skills – making complex contract language easy to understand.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, always ready to tackle challenges and drive outcomes.
