About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Production Coordinator to join our client's team in St Peters. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process, working closely with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development, sampling, and production for major accounts, adhering to schedules and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor and production staff to streamline production processes.
  • Facilitate cost-effective and timely local and offshore production processes, coordinating with freight forwarders and managing fabric and accessory orders.
  • Raise and send purchase orders, communicate with customers and suppliers regarding order issues and confirmations, and monitor supplier performance and stock levels.
  • Expedite local and international purchase orders, maintaining accurate shipping dates, and coordinate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturers, customers, and sales representatives.
  • Assist in new product development initiatives, manage invoices related to production and development, and ensure compliance with industry standards by liaising with certifiers, factory auditors, and unions.
Requirements
  • Fluency in Mandarin.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role (production, quality control, garment technician).
  • Basic understanding of import-export logistics processes.
  • Knowledge of garment construction, with fashion/textile certification preferred.
  • Experience in supplier management and procurement.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
