About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our team and work on unique and highly visible projects that shape the future of software services for networking scenarios.

The outcome of your work will directly impact supporting the scale and pace needed for innovating on the requirements of Artificial Intelligence workloads.

You will be responsible for defining, driving execution, and adoption of different features and capabilities in the core azure networking stack that will have a significant business impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features.
  • Contribute to identifying dependencies and developing design documents for a product area with little oversight.
  • Create and implement code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable.
  • Contribute to breaking down larger work items into smaller work items and provide estimation.
  • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on-call to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and gain approval to restore system/product/service for simple problems.
  • Remain current in skills by investing time and effort into staying abreast of current developments that improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years working technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR equivalent experience.
