We are seeking a highly skilled Dams Engineer to join our team in Queensland. As a key member of our Water group, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile and challenging projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage dam safety projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project needs and develop effective solutions
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, promoting a culture of safety and excellence
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize dam performance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve project outcomes
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, preferably in civil or structural engineering
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in dams engineering, including design management and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to plan, design, read, interpret, and supervise complex engineering projects and assignments
  • Desirable: membership of Engineers Australia or equivalent, and registration as a Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent
