Mechanical Engineering Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Mechanical Engineering student to join our team as a Summer Intern. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including the Hobart Stadium project, and gain hands-on experience in the design and development of HVAC and hydraulics systems.
As a member of our Mechanical Engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, design, monitoring, and inspection of HVAC and hydraulics systems. You will work closely with our experienced engineers to develop and implement innovative solutions to reduce energy consumption and improve building efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Support the mechanical team with the planning, design, monitoring, and inspection of HVAC and hydraulics systems.
- Work with our Mechanical HVAC engineers to develop and implement innovative solutions to reduce energy consumption and improve building efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of thermal and energy modeling tools to optimize building performance.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other design and construction professionals to ensure seamless project delivery.
- A 12-week full-time paid internship (mid-November to mid-February) with options for flexibility on time frames if needed.
- Practical application of knowledge and skills in a real-world setting.

- Currently undertaking a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tasmania.
- In your penultimate year or earlier of study at an Australian or New Zealand University.
- Able to commence work from mid-November 2024 to mid-February 2025 (flexible).
