Senior Acoustic Consultant

At a leading consulting firm, we are seeking an ambitious individual to join our high-performing and friendly Acoustics & Vibration team as a Senior Acoustic Consultant on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out high-profile and large-scale projects across the Asia-Pacific region as part of a wider APAC team of specialist acoustic consultants.
  • Perform technical tasks requiring accuracy in calculations, data analysis, modeling, and design, including manipulating and managing large datasets.
  • Work on a wide range of projects in environmental noise monitoring, building acoustics, 3D computer noise modeling, numerical analysis of results, and associated reporting.
  • Mentor and guide junior level staff to ensure their growth and development within the team.
  • Deliver projects and develop business development skills to contribute to the breadth and range of projects the team works on with support from senior team members as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
  • A relevant bachelor's degree, ideally in mechanical or electrical engineering, environmental engineering, or science.
  • 4-8+ years' experience within a consulting environment, with a focus on acoustics and vibration.
  • Capability and experience with coding, GIS, noise monitoring, and prediction would be favorable.
  • Experience and high competency with noise monitoring equipment and/or 3D computer noise models is essential.
  • The ability to be self-sufficient and build on your business development skill set as everyone looks to contribute in this area.
  • A proven record of high-level project delivery will be advantageous.
