We are a specialized acoustical consultancy focused on environmental noise and building acoustics. Our projects span resources, hospitality, residential, and commercial developments, with a strong focus on practical, client-driven solutions.

The Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to manage projects from start to finish, working closely with our team on a diverse range of projects including hospitality, residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental and building noise measurements using specialized equipment.
  • Prepare technical reports, noise impact assessments, and support documentation for planning approvals.
  • Acoustic modeling and data analysis.
  • Undertake site inspections and liaise with clients, councils, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the design of noise control and acoustic treatment solutions.
  • Support senior consultants in project delivery, project administration, and client management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years' experience in Acoustics.
  • Tertiary qualification in Acoustics, Engineering, Environmental Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience with acoustic specialist environmental noise software like SoundPLAN, Cadna, iNoise.
  • Understanding of relevant Australian Standards, Building Codes, and Environmental Noise Guidelines.
