Acoustic Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Acoustic Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting technical assignments, including noise and vibration assessments, data collection and analysis, computer modeling, and report preparation.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site inspections and measurements using specialized equipment.
  • Prepare detailed reports, noise impact assessments, and supporting documentation for planning approvals.
  • Develop and implement acoustic treatment solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to deliver projects successfully.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in acoustics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in acoustics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and acoustic specialist software like SoundPLAN, Cadna, iNoise.
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards, Building Codes, and Environmental Noise Guidelines.
  • Current driver's license (site work required).
