Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality ecological services and advice to clients and colleagues.">
  • Participate in field survey programs to collect ecological data.">
  • Interpret and apply environmental legislation to various projects.">
  • Develop technical reports detailing the outcomes of field survey programs and implications for environmental impact assessment and management.">
  • Contribute to project management, including budget tracking and invoicing.">
  • Assist in preparing tenders and proposals.">
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to business growth.">
  • Mentor junior staff and lead field trips.">
  • Integrate technical work into multidisciplinary assessments and project teams.">
  • Travel to remote areas for field survey programs.">

Requirements

">

For this position, we are looking for candidates with a tertiary qualification in Science, Environmental Science, or a related field. They should have at least 6 years' experience in an ecological role in the environmental consulting sector or a similar role in Government.

Experience in designing and implementing flora and fauna field surveys and monitoring programs is essential. Excellent identification skills, mature report writing and computer skills, and proven ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks are also required.
