We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare in Launceston.


About the Role:



  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry services, to help older members of our community maintain their independence.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and essential items.
  • Offer social support and engagement opportunities, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to enhance the quality of life for our customers.
  • Manage medication, assist with mobility, and support therapy goals to promote overall well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support, providing a much-needed break for families and caregivers.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide complex care for those with high needs, such as dementia.

About You:



  • You possess a current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel and visit customers in their homes.
  • You are available to work a minimum of three days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend shifts required.
  • You are comfortable working independently, finding solutions to everyday problems, and know when to ask for assistance from your Manager.

Salary:


The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location.
