About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Professional to join our team at KinCare. As a Home Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our elderly customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay engaged and connected with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with mobility, therapy goals, and medication management.
  • Offer respite and emotional support, providing comfort and reassurance to our customers during difficult times.
  • Transport customers to appointments, ensuring they receive the medical attention they need.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or higher in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, as travel is a requirement of the role.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers.
