We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Aged Care Coordinator to join our team at Respect Aged Care. Located on the northwest coast of Tasmania, our organisation has been serving older residents since 1922.

The Opportunity

The Aged Care Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the coordination and delivery of quality clinical care to residents. This involves planning, allocating, and delegating duties, as well as facilitating the delivery of care according to documented policies and procedures.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the effective administration of human, material, and fiscal resource management, ensuring that our organisation remains compliant with relevant legislation and regulations.

Requirements
  • A minimum of three years' experience in residential aged care.
  • Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN).
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Sound knowledge of the Quality Agency Standards, Specified Care and Service Principles of the Aged Care Act, Documentation Standards, Residents Rights, Aged Care Funding Instrument, and other relevant legislation and codes of practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
