Electrical Maintenance Planner Role

This key position is designed for an experienced professional to coordinate and plan maintenance activities and improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will utilise their comprehensive electrical knowledge to schedule maintenance work, develop detailed shutdown maintenance plans, and coordinate resources, labour, and materials for shutdown maintenance projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Scheduling maintenance activities and planning work execution
  • Developing, implementing, and managing shutdown maintenance plans and schedules
  • Coordinating resources, labour, and materials for shutdown maintenance projects
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers to attain cost-effective methods of execution and delivery of planned work
  • Ensuring seamless integration of maintenance activities with other operations
  • Capturing and reviewing maintenance history to drive strategy improvement
  • Analysing prior maintenance work orders to ensure follow-up work is captured and actioned
  • Supporting alignment of safety, quality, and plant critical priorities with stakeholders
  • Providing supervision to internal and external resources
  • Managing and controlling maintenance spares utilisation, refurbishment, and/or replenishment
  • Performing administrative activities such as raising purchase orders and invoice management
About You

You'll bring technical skills and experience in equipment maintenance in continuous production facilities. A strong electrical trade qualification or equivalent experience is preferred. You should also have demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling inspections and maintenance of site equipment, solid experience of SAP and MS Office suite, and experience in determining root cause through investigation processes and tools to recommend informed corrective measures.
