We have recently developed 2 new control systems for agricultural machines. It is for this project that we require some assistance, commencing as a part-time position with the opportunity of quickly progressing to full-time for the right individual.

We are looking for someone to prepare & assemble our small industrial electrical control boxes ready for despatch to clients. The boxes contain a mix of components, on/off buttons, cables & connectors. The process is fully documented and also the successful applicant will be instructed and directed as to how the assembly is achieved.

The **hard skills required** will include being very comfortable with:

- Use of a drill to create required holes for wires to pass through & buttons to be positioned
- Stripping back electrical cable to expose wire to enable crimped ends to be added
- Wiring of VSD, Electric Motor, Touchscreen &/or Pendant Control
- Using templates to ensure consistent aperture positioning
- Use of deburring tools to remove sharp edges after drilling

**Other skills required** will include:

- High standard of workmanship giving a professional result
- Attention to detail & consistency
- Aptitude for engineering style of work

This role doesn’t require qualifications as such as all products will be signed off by our head of engineering. However, we feel the role might suit a person with either an industrial electrical or engineering background. Good eyesight will be of huge benefit as many of the connections are small and intricate. Experience in the wiring of basic electrical/industrial control cabinets would help.

We believe this role might ideally suit two target groups:
1. Suitably experienced recently retired individuals who might be looking to fill their time productively.

2. People that possess the skill sets, desire to achieve an ultra-high standard of work and want to progress their career.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Subcontract, Freelance, Temp to perm

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
