About the Role
  • Manage personnel in accordance with company policies to ensure only skilled and qualified employees are assigned to tasks.
  • Oversee the ongoing performance management of teams and address performance issues promptly.
  • Provide guidance for safe and timely delivery of connections and appointment work in line with client expectations and legislative requirements.
  • Consult with counterparts to ensure resourcing ability meets program delivery needs.
  • Capture and report relevant data from the field.
  • Lead and motivate direct and indirect reports to deliver work on scope, time, budget, and quality standards.
  • Evaluate resource capability, skill sets, and volume to service forecasted work safely and efficiently.
  • Manage resources, subcontractors, and suppliers according to established processes and procedures.
  • Program delivery to meet or exceed company and customer requirements.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven ability to drive a safety culture and implement safety processes, systems, and programs for effective work delivery.
  • Understanding of Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks and related requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Effective cost management within budget guidelines, including resource sharing for capital projects and achieving targets.
  • Experience in resource utilization and capacity planning for workforce and physical resources.
  • Experience in planning or strategy development.
  • Proven experience managing field teams.
