About The Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and high-performing HD Fitters to join a dynamic Field Service team. In this role, you will provide essential inspection, maintenance, and repair services for a diverse range of mining equipment, including:

  1. Surface Drills (Boom and Rotary)
  2. Underground Trucks and Loaders
  3. Underground Development and Production Drills
  4. Ancillary Underground Equipment
  5. Hydraulic and Electrical Systems
  6. Automation Setup, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting

The position involves a 7/7 roster, with travel to various customer sites across Central West NSW.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Diagnose faults, maintain, and repair mining equipment
  2. Identify electrical and mechanical issues in mobile systems
  3. Maintain accurate inspection test reports and documentation
  4. Support and train technicians from other regions
  5. Adhere to EHS policies and procedures
  6. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  7. Assist with machine audits and inspections

Your Profile

  1. Relevant Trade Qualification
  2. Experience with surface and underground drilling, load and haul equipment
  3. Valid Driver's License (compulsory)
  4. Strong customer service and communication skills
  5. Flexible and adaptable to customer requirements and safety policies
  6. Positive attitude with a high determination to meet customer satisfaction targets
  7. Ability to work unsupervised
  8. Right to live and work in Australia and ability to pass a pre-employment medical
